I visited your site. Quite impressive modifications that you've made.
A couple questions?
1. Would it have made sense to start out with the model 2000 mill instead of
the one you started with? I would think that you would not have had to do
much alteration to get the throat that you wanted.
2. From a practical standpoint, how much overhead to you find in converting
from the mill to the lathe, and back? Is this a valid concern, or is it like
the Shopsmith - those who have the machine know that it's no problem to
convert; those who have never had one think it's a real problem.
