EMC Source driving me crazy!!

I thought I succeeded in editing emctaskmain to prevent a pause when
turning on/off the m-code outputs, it worked perfectly on my test
computer, it worked perfectly on my Bridgeport, but when I changed
to the servo to go (*stg*.o) it generates a pause!!!!!!
Why does changing to servos affect the IO sequence planning?
I have scanned through EMCMOT, TC, TP & I don't see any reason why
there would be a difference between steppers & servos as far as
event sequencing is concerned.
Help!
