Linear "ball ways" and THK linear bearings, or even Thomson "Class L" round
ways and linear ball-bearings for such can be at least several hundred for this
size of a project! I built an "X-Y router" with a working-area of 1.5 x 3
meter, and a Z-travel of about 300 mm, with a 3.5 hp. 3Ø-400 Hz router (and
power-converter/generator), large Superior Electric steppers and driver-boxes,
Thomson round-ways and linear bearings, and NOT counting the table-frame
itself, I was "out" $35,000. New (professional) stuff like this costs money FAST!
