I don't have the answer, but suspect a user group wouldn't be much
help. In a user group, manufacturer's reps are free to establish
multiple bogus identities. This allows a rep to carry on his own
conversation to "convert" the lost soul, to provide testimonials, or
to introduce "new" features. All this occurs without the
advertisement disclaimer or paid political advertisement statement
required in printed media for instance. So you don't really know
the agenda of the respondent unless you spend some time with him or
