Can anyone help
I Have just purchased a Denford TRIAC (see Photos Glamoursfx) in
working order.
I have got some manuals with this machine, but want to know if
anyone else is using one or something similar, as it has a RS232
interface at the rear, and want to find out about uploading G-Code
to machine. As i am a bit off a novice in this area(RS232).
If this is not possible the machine is then going to be converted to
Mach 1/2 or EMC.
I have a bit of fault with it at the moment, as when it is first
switched on you have to (ABS DATUM) the machine. this function did
work when shown machine and now it try's to move Z axis to the very
top and give's an over Z error. I can't see anything wrong
mechanical or electrical internal in machine ie disloged or broken.
The machine was stored outside under cover for 2 days, whilst i
gathered help to move the 240Kg (568lb) machine, where it may have
got damp inside the workings, I am going to dry with fan heater
today to see if this helps solve problem, but if anyone else can
help i would be grateful.
You can contact me through group or at glamoursfx@...
If anyone needs any of the manuals i am quite willing to share info
etc, as no backup from Denford is supported anymore when i contacted
them
Many Thanks
Dave
