Hi list,
I bothered to check this site out, http://www.buildyouridea.com , and was
rather impressed with all the activities within. I was particularly taken
by the simplicity of the foam cutting CNC device, While it did have a
certain crudeness about it, it seemed to perform rather well, I thought.
There was an element of commercialism about his operation, but that is
probably the nature of the game. After all, a CNC machine is designed for
accurate repeatability, and that's what business also demands.
The bit that intrigued me was the need to have the bearings at 120 deg'
angles. While I appreciate what was going on, I thought it was a bit of
over kill. Sorry if this is off topic, but could someone enlighten me off
list about this.
Many thanks,
Jawjnz
