Hi group!
Would this be a good motor for a bridge type milling machine intended
for wood and light aluminium work? To be coupled to a lead screw with
lead of 5 mm/turn.
* 3-ph 200 watt PM
* cont/peak torque: 0.64/1.91 Nm
* winding resistance: 3 Ohm
* cont/peak current: 2.0/6.0 A
* torque constant: 0.355 Nm/A
* rated voltage: 200 V (don't know why this is specified, isn't
current the important thing?)
* voltage constant: about 80 V peak-to-peak / 1000 RPM (I measured
this by spinning the motor at about 1000 RPM and watching the voltage
on an oscilloscope)
* encoder: 2000 counts/rev
