Graham,
If you go to www.mcmaster.com , and search for spider couplings,
you'll find what I used to connect stepper motors to the Proxxon shafts, and
they're pretty cheap. The rubber spider that's inserted between the two
coupling halves allows for misalignment. If I remember correctly, I had to
order the couplings with undersize holes, and drill them to fit the shafts.
