retrofits controller

Hi! Group,
I have two set of old machines, one is 3D engraver with working XYZ
stepper motor 34PM-C02 but no controller wherelse the other one is a
milling with a ANAHEIM AUTOMATION XYZ diver controller. I want to
have this retrofits it and run on a PC. But I have little knowledge
of CNC hardware and software (in other words a beginner and do not
know how to links the hardware and software. Can any members help.
Will be much appreciated.
