I bought one, haven't assembled or tested it yet due to lack of time.

The K8000 looks great, I don't know why it hasn't caught on with our
(hobbiest CNC) group yet.

It has 16 binary Input or Output, 4 Analog to Digital and 9 Digital to
Analog channels. It has onboard transformers for 15VAC & 6VAC (for 12V
and 5VDC regulators). The European manufacturer is http://www.velleman.be

I think they can be daisy-chained somehow up to four deep (giving
64 binary I/O bits).

It has two things that I don't quite understand:
#1 - It has a printer pass-thru port (ie a 2nd DB25 onboard). How that
works exactly, I don't know.
#2 - Apparently it can be controlled somehow by an "I2C" protocol, the
benefits of which I am unfamiliar.
