Hi,
I have not posted in this group ....hmmm maybe ever but have been a
member for while. I started a project of retro fitting a 7 x 12 mini
lathe over a year ago, and it seems all i did was make purchases and
did some research on how to get it all together. I forgotten most
everything I had learned. What I have is a 9 x20 jet, 2 gecko 201
stepper drives, 3 pacific sci powermax II stepper motors (nema 23, 65
volt, 1.75 amp 1.8 degree, bipoler) a dbi v2.0 cnc parallel interface
from axxus technologies. A 1 v duel relay from axxus, a rather huge
alum heat sink( i think i planned on cutting it into many smaller)
and a 60 volt (rather huge) radial transformer, a 10,000mf 80v dc
capacitor. Has anyone here put together a stepping unit using
g201's. Am i on the right track?
