Question, encoder compatibility w/Gecko 340

I'm looking at some Renco encoders for eventual use with some Gecko 340
amps. The output is listed as "5 volt differential-line-driver outputs"
and I'm not totally sure this is what the Gecko driver needs. Sounds
like it, but I don't like to make assumptions with expensive
electronics...
