Do you really need a T-slot table? In the 3 years I used a CNC engraver,
I used the T slots a couple of times. What was far more useful was a
matrix of tapped holes. I used the machine to mark out the holes to make
sure they were in known positions. These holes were great for precisely
aligning fixtures, holding down sacrificial surfaces etc.
