I've got a program, MeshCAM, that does most of what DeskProto does. You can get it
from http://www.robgrz.com/meshcam.phtml .

If you're looking to do simpler toolpaths in Rhino and convert a curve direct to GCode
then I also wrote a Rhino plugin to do that. You're free to try it, but I've only got it
compiled for Rhino 2.0 for Win2k and XP. (Rhino 2.0 had an odd behavior that
required a different plugin for Unicode systems like Win2k and XP and a different one
for 98 and, I believe, ME). Let me know if you want it.
