Thanks for the reply,

How do you feel it works not having encoders? I really like my
current system with servos and the feedback from the encoders.
Perhaps I am a bit spoiled. But I have not ran anything with
steppers so I really do not know. I guess if everything is working
good it should not be a problem with missed steps.
