Bridgeport BOSS conversion

I recently bought a Bridgeport Series 1 with a BOSS4.
I already know I want to upgrade the controller.

I have a smaller mill I converted with servos, Gecko 320's and use
Mach2 software. It works great.

I was wondering if anyone has used Gecko's with the exsisting
stepper motors on a Bridgeport.

If so has it worked out?

Has anyone been able to use the exsiting power supply to run the
steppers with the Gecko drives?

Any feedback on this would be great.
