Every time a switch opens and closes there is spikes(noise) coming
out of it, in order to have a clean pulse you need a debouce circuit.
a 74hc04 i.c will do it.
I'm sorry but I don't have a schematic for it but I think that if you
download the 74hc04i.c data sheet you will get it.
