24V Power Supply Sources?

Hello Group.
I am new to this and have searched the archive (probably used wrong
terms).
I am starting to put together a Hobby CNC lathe system and have been
leaning toward the Xylotex controller boards. Is this a good choice?
Can anyone point me to some inexpensive 24V power supplies or plans
on how to make one and where to get the parts. This is the one item
I am struggling to find information on.
Can 12V PC power supplies be used in a mill applicarion? What
limitations and how can it be done.
Thank You.
