Well you don't tell us what the bad things you hear are, so it is not
likely anyone here will be able to respond.

I can say this much Reliance has been around for a long time, their AC
drives are well respected. In one plant I worked in Reliance drives
lasted without failure for the entire life of the plant. These where
AC drives but none the less trouble free. How this applies to any DC
servos is another issue.
