Sounds like you may either have a corrupted download, a bad CD, or dodgy
hardware - It does happen, sometimes a seemingly perfect CD throws an error
on one particular CDROM.

Mixing RPMs like this will lead to trouble...

Just one pitfall of mix'n'matching the RPMs.

It looks like you are using an EMC compiled for a RH6.x system.

Would be the best route to follow, but RH7.x installs have their own tarpits
waiting to trip you up - Installing RH9.0 or Fedora would be a better bet..

Tcl 8.0.3 has libtcl8.0.so - Ignore the sub-version number, the important
ones are 8 and 0.
