Questions about EMC

A manufacturer of specialty machine tools contacted me recently. They
asked if I would compile a listing of comments about the EMC from folk
who cut parts more or less regularly with it. Please take a few minutes
to describe your operation and what you have found to be the strengths
and weaknesses.

I'm not so much interested in casual acquaintence so hold the reactions
like, "I tried to boot the BDI-Live but it didn't work" or "I couldn't
get it to compile," or "Linux sucks" for another time, place, or thread. I
really need comments from the serious user -- those who are probably to
busy making things to want to reply.

Most of you know me as an EMC evangelist but I will try to fairly present
your experience with it. Feel free to post to the list or to me. When
complete, I will prepare a document and make it available on
linuxcnc.org. Thanks in advance for your time.
