Here is another item that I hope to have ready shortly.
A SEDM ( Sinker Electrical Discharge Machine). Yesterday I reviewed the
draft for a really nice SEDM that is computer controlled. The 60 pages of
text read really well and are very informative. After the theory of
operation and the concepts an SEDM is constructed using low cost materials.
It uses a single driver for the UP and down. It is desinged with a nice tank
to retain the dialectic fluids. It has a pumps and a good but some what
basic power supply . In any case the person that I am working with on this
is in europe. We have decided on a joint ventrure and hope to have plans and
kits very soon.
More impressive is the Wire EDM plans ( he has a prototype built) that he
will be working on after the SEDM is completed and a three axis SEDM.
So this years will have a lot new items to the home shop.
So while you folks are taking about rocks there's lots pof chips being made
in the background.
So many machines to build --- so little time in a day.
Dan
