The EDMs for hobbiests that I have seen (one in HSM, one in Model
Engineer, and Ramah Machine tap disintagrator) were all not very
good. I hope your SEDM is quite a bit better than those.

This problem is that now I have to keep transformers, meters, and
some other stuff that I was going to offer free for postage to
the group cause I dispaired of ever getting a decent EDM project
going.

A 3-axis SEDM. Now that and the wire EDM are just what I've been
waiting for. I mentioned this to you, Dan, years ago when I got
the 2-amp stepper driver board. That was just after the 2nd
installment came out in Nuts & Volts. So, I've been waiting that
long for someone to get a 3-axis EDM and I'm glad you are finally
doing it.
