Request for CNC edgefinding info...

I need to do some fancy CNC edge finding for a part we are working on.

I'd like to integrate a Renishaw or Accurite electronic probe into one
of our CNC systems (custom TurboCNC).

Has anyone done CNC probing ? How do you like it ? How accurate is it
?

Can anyone offer any comments on the Renishaw or Accurite probes ? Does
anyone know where I can buy one of these, esp the Accurite, esp at less
than new prices ?

BTW: I am not interested in the conductivity type probes, ie the $20,
runs on a battery types.
