have an INPUT for this index-signal? I think you are right, it IS a "once per
turn" pulse, generally synchronous with "A". As I understand things, it is
generally used to "confirm" the pulses-per-turn count is correct, each turn. It'd
take some logic to keep track of DIRECTION and TOTAL for this index, just as
you would for the servo-drive.
