Thankyou for posting these!

Especially the third one. A few things in there I didn't know; one
which "should be" known to all who are making their own linear power
supplies:

"Don't mount a screw terminal cap screws down. If on its side, be
sure the positive terminal is above the negative."

I didn't know that! Now I've gotta go take a look at years of "home-
cobbled" stuff to see if "luck" took care of me...<G>
