New to CNC, need help finding sources

I'm brand to new to CNC. I haven't made my purchase yet of a system. My
Grizzly G1007 is being converted to ball screws per the Jeff Davis plans
this very week. I need help figuring out what to buy along the lines of
software and electronics. I'm after a servo motor system to control 4
axes. I have a 233 MHz Pentium-MMX desk top that can be used to run the
unit. Aside from that, it seems there are so many options and so much
information I available that it makes it difficult to sort out what is and
what isn't important.

Could use some tutelage if someone would be willing. Thanks.
