There are just as many options available as opinions on what to use.
Here is what I am using on my converted CNC mill.
Mill - Acer Model 30
Three CNC Servos Gecko Model 320 - http://www.geckodrives.com/
Servos mounted inside custom servo box made by Camtronics:

DC Power supplies available from Camtronics as well as many other sources.
CNC Control Software:
TurboCNC - http://www.dakeng.com/turbo.html
CNCPro - http://www.yeagerautomation.com/
CAD/CAM - Vector - http://www.imsrv.com
Also using MTB Pro - http://www.imsrv.com/mtb/
(MTB Pro is my personal favorite software :)
