You might double check that. Some of the small form factor
machines have a parallel port but just don't bring it out
to a case connector ... seriously it's true. Speaking of
small form factor machines. I was able to build up a SFF
machine for <$500 (P4 and case is same design as Shuttle)
and along with a nice LCD it's really the way to go in terms
of footprint. Fan's a little noisy but that's not an issue
for me. Unless you need a huge number of PCI slots (mine
as just 1) I can't see any reason to go with the full size
boxes.
