An excellent point!

This ties in with the trend in recent years toward presenting information in a
"digital" way rather than in the old "analog" way, with meters and such
stuff. Just because there are a bunch of digits there doesn't mean squat
about them having any particular significance. But people tend to assume
that this is the case!
