Howdy
Took twice at 45 minutes to download, took reloading my Linux9.1 to 9.2
to make my cdburner work, it was writing this cdrom when I went to bed.
Booted it this morning and all I can say is WOW.
It has Cad programs,Editors, C++ programming, it has all the features
of my Linux 9.2 and more.It has KB3 (cd burn utility) And It runs with a
kde Screen interface, It Grabbed the numbers out of the cable modem
and I have not turned it back to the old os. Chips (mascot) is on the
screen now.
Since it took my cable hookup so long to capture and burn, I plan on
burning at least three more copies today While I cut some chips in the
shop. If you can't download it email me.
I had someone tell me EMC looked like a black hole everyone wastes time
into. Written by the old Russians to ruin american production.
It looks like it works great now, I can't wait to get it moved to the shop.
I am impressed. "WOW". It loaded BridgeportIo when it started too, what I
wired my machine to match.. Not sure if it loaded the stepperio config or
the freqmod stepper setup thou, have to check. That is a minor thing.
Even the loading script as it started EMC was visible for change.
It has finally entered the REAL CNC arena. Now who has some cheap
powerful common parts-open source drives? I see open source robotics
drives in other magazines. Not as cheap as geckos or rutex but getting
closer.
WOW. I got a new toy.
