Lee,
I tried to email you back directly, but I am not sure that it worked
so I am posting to the group with essentially the same information.

I don't know what a 4J head type is, but my Z IS knee driven. Part of
my problem is that I am trying to identify the exact model of my
machine. I know it is a SeriesII CNC but I was told that the head had
been replaced with a "SuperMax". I am not sure if it was the whole
head, as it looks like pictures I have seen of the Bridgeport Series
II (tags have been rubbed off), but it definitely has a Tiawan motor.
One odd thing is that the table is shorter than normal. I don't have
the exact measurements with me right now, but instead of 11x58, mine
is more like 11x36. My stepper motors (which are off the machine) are
6 wire, belt driven.

I have posted pictures of my machine at www.tmitch.com/mymill.htm .

Oh, and I live in the Northeast corner of Oklahoma.

Ted
