Hi Peter,

A protected upgrade definitely becomes a major decision factor, since the difference in costs between the VM packages would go a long way towards making the hardware conversion.

I'm not terribly concerned about productivity at this point as there's plenty to do before any metal is cut, and I'd need to be a lot more familiar with the software before being able to benefit from a class. I do a lot better at reading things and then following through the tutorials after I have some idea of where I'm going. Trying to learn something from scratch in a class doesn't seem to work well for me.

I appreciate the time you've and the others have put forth to share your experiences.
