Milling vise (small) opinions?

I'm about to take the plunge and get the Sakai lathe and mill, but
I'm in a quandry about which vise to get. Price ranges for vises of
about the same size go from $35 to $400+ and I'm not sure I see that
much difference. I don't like the looks of the Sakai vise because it
has a handle instead of a hex nut, and I doesn't look like it pulls
down as it is tightened.
I'd like to stay below $150, but I also don't want to have to replace
the vise after 6 months.
Advice is greatly appreciated.
