Desk*****?

Can anyone explain to me what the relationship (if any)is between
DeskNC and DeskCNC? I _believe_ that they are by the same company
(DesKAM or Carken), but then the DeskCNC Forum is run by IMService,
and both software packages seem to be sold by lots of people.

Maybe I'm slow(well, probably..) but I can't quite understand it.

And if they are the same company, I think I understand that DeskNC
is a DOS controller and DeskCNC is a Windows controller, but why
have DeskWinNC? Or is DeskCNC also a CAM package?

No real reason that I need to know; just curious.
