Now that my mill is functional I'm looking at software. I've demoed
DeskCNC, BobCad, and Dolphin. Desk CNC doesn't seem to make usable
parts. BobCad 17 is not intuitive to use, at least I couldn't figure it
out in a few minutes. Dolphin does everything I want, but is out of my
price range. Are there any others I should be looking at?
Also any good sites or books on G-code for learning basic programming
for facing, drilling, and simple shapes?
I'm using Turbocnc to run my mill. My parts are designed in Solidworks.
