That's almost what a CAM program is / does. With the 2 1/5 D stuff you draw
your shape or import it from a CAD program, select tools, start point, end
point, depth, path to follow, offset (you don't need to draw a 1/4 wide
line, just tell the cam program what side of the line to cut on)... and it
does a G code program the controler can use
