Cincinnati Talon with Acramatic 850SX control

I am looking at a Cincinnati Talon Turning Center with an Acramatic
850SX control on it. The machine is a 1994 model. I have heard that
there are some problem with this control. Can anyone with experence
comment on the control and on the iron as to the good and bad aspects?
