drive board spark

Hi
I am building a cnc mill and tonite when I was installing the drive
boards (larken) there was a spark when I hooked up one of the drive
boards to the power.There was no power on at the time, but it turns
out that the capicators were fully charged.
The question is,do you think that I did damage to the board?
Going to try and run the machine on Wednesday.
