The two shops I talked to, one didn't do that kind of work and did
not know anyone who does.

the other could do it, but wanted much more than a new motor.

I'll keep looking over the weekend and make some calls on Monday, but
at some point, trying to save a few bucks is going to cost more than
buying the new motor.
