Yikes, I just saw that thermal rating, 22 C/W! Yikes! That means
running 2 A
continuously through the 2.6 Ohm resistance, you have 88 W loss, for a temp
rise of 88 C! If this rating hasn't dropped a decimal point, that probably
exceeds the continuous rating of the motor, as the armature would be
108 C in a 20 C room! So, the continuous torque must be less than 88 Oz-In,
which sounds a bit weak. I keep coming back to these motors just seem real
marginal if you ever intend to put them on a Series-I Bridgeport.
