Sorry, the moderators have blanked out my ability to post files.
I don't know why, but anyway.

It's easy to draw. Draw a "+" sign, then draw a semi circle
around the "+" sign from 45 - 270 degrees. This is the "C" shape
with the 135 degree opening.

Drawn this way, the south sensor just tripped on (unblocked). The
east sensor is out in the open and is on too. Let's call this tool 1
position (the "C" rotates with the turret, sensors are stationary).
When rotating the "C" CW 45 degrees, you will see that the east
sensor will be tripped off (blocked) and the south sensor will remain
on. This pattern repeats for all 8 tools.
