Most people, at some point in their lives, will live both sides of that observation. Don't forget that when you get old, you will most likely have the time and the money but you
finally figured out how to get off the treadmill.

cnc'ers. 1st type is the guy that always wanted cnc but doesn't have any
jobs for them so they make tools to improve and speed up what they aren't
making. The other type are the true cnc'ers that make products and don't
have time to make things for their machines that would make the parts easier
or faster. Sort of like the guys that have money but no time for their
hobbies and the other guys that have the time but no money.
