A conversation between me and my wife awhile ago when she made a rare visit
out to the shop:
Wife: Hi honey, I see you're working on your new mill-machine-thingy.
What are you making?
Me : I'm making parts and accessories for my lathe.
Wife: What kinds of parts and accessories?
Me : Parts and accessories which make it easier to make things with my
lathe.
Wife: What kind of things do you make with your lathe then?
Me : Mainly? .... .... .... parts and accessories for my mill.
<pause while it all sinks in>
Wife: < silently shakes head with sadly piteous expression >
Me : Back to your quilting woman! Can't you see I'm busy!
