The Heidenhain is not reacting as it should (doh)

There's a way to find out if the machine switches from blok/blok to full run,
it's a system 'marker'' that can be examined in memory. If the swx works, the
system knows. If the system knows it sets this marker. If it sets this marker,
it'll work (else the system roms are munged).
For the upload/dload funny lines problem..
insure you follow heidenhain's specs for file format, and your own (you set
parms in system saying things like 'even character count per line' and what
the end of file marker is. Dont send anything besides alpha (caps), numerals,
decimal point, CR (13), and LF(10).
I've found Heidenhains to be very reliable in very rough dirty environments
( and noisy, as I use 'em for EDM ).
