I tried mach2 on a xp2600 with via chipset . It did what your is doing.
Since it was new I took it back and exchanged it for a Pentium 3Ghz with
Intel chip set. That worked fine. With that said my other business computer
had a XP1700 cpu with a via chipset but that also worked fine with mach2.
