2.5 axis means that coordinated moves in only 2 axes are supported.
So, no helical interpolation, or 3 axis linear moves. If you want to do
contouring, this would be a limitation, as you couldn't move Z while
X and Y were moving simultaneously. So, you could only contour on
a strict X-Y axis grid, with all passes across the work being aligned to
either X or Y.
