You might want to take a look at Synergy from Weber Systems -
http://webersys.com - They have released a package that runs under linux, and
I have heard the pricing is competitive.
Currently evaluating the 3D CAD/CAM demo on a BDI-Live install - Until I
finish reading the documents and learn how to use it effectively, I can not
give an honest appraisal..
