You can download a 30 or so day demo of that from their site. Might be worth
checking out.

I know a lot of folks have been happy with that product. It really depends
on what types of UI you're used to, and how you work.

In my research it has also been about the least expensive product that lets
you have find control over the toolpath.

Subject: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] 3D CAD/CAM - Vector???

I'm looking to get a complete 3d Cad/Cam package software package
that I can go from drawing up a part to outputting G-Code to be fed
into EMC for milling on the Sherline mill.

I have a Sherline 2000 CNC mill with the 4th axis so I'd like to be
able to take advantage of all the features of this unit and the 4th
axis.

I called the folks at Vector XT (IMService???) and it sounds like the
3d Version of Vector CAD/CAM with the 4th Axis add on should do what
I want to do.

What is the experience from those of you veteran users of this
product?

Are there any others that I should consider in a similar or less
price range?
(Ibelieve the Vector CAD/CAM 3D with 4th Axis is approx $930.00)

Thank you
