If your servos are DC brushtype around 100 volts or less and draw less than 20 amps at normal operation they would be a good candidate for Gecko320's. Your peak or stall current may be higher than 20 amps and it wont be a problem just make sure you put a fuse on the drive. I'm using 15 amp fuses for each drive. I have a Bridgeport mill with 40lb/in servos and the Gecko320's run it perfectly. You'll need to get rid of the tachs or present encoders and replace them with USdigital E5S-200 encoders at $40 each. Get a PC with artofcnc Mach2 software(free no time limit demo, $150 for license). Bob Campbell's Mach2 Breakout board ($130 approx.) If your old power supply is still good, use it. If you need one go to "cnckits" on the web. The Gecko320's are rated for 80volts and 20 amps max and you can run servos at less than rated voltage sacrificing speed but not torque providing you have the amperage required available. Do a search for Gecko wiring diagram and you'll find a PDF with a good
wiring diagram. Get a good soldering gun and have some fun.
